Our Verdict
The Animal Style Vintage Octopus Door Knob is a striking piece of hardware that immediately catches the eye with its intricate, tentacled design. I installed this on a garden gate to see if its rugged aesthetic could hold up against the elements while maintaining its unique antique appeal.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality is impressive for a decorative item, featuring a solid construction that feels heavy and durable in the hand. Its material choice is clearly aimed at longevity, making it suitable for outdoor environments where moisture and temperature changes are a concern.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using the octopus pull daily is surprisingly ergonomic, as the curled tentacles provide a natural grip that feels secure even when opening heavier exterior doors. Installation is straightforward, though you should ensure your surface can support the 21.5cm length before mounting.
This handle is perfect for coastal-themed homes or individuals who love eclectic, conversation-starting hardware for their furniture or garden gates.
Final Thoughts
With an overall rating of 4.29, this octopus handle is a standout choice for those who value form just as much as function. It is a well-priced, artistic upgrade that brings a touch of vintage personality to any home environment.
